Good Evening its Tyler at my church I'm currently involved in a vision group called "Messy Church" its group that's trying to get the next generation in our church to step up and take over and take over the next "Jesus Movement" which I can not wait for. I would love to share some of the stuff we talked about 2 weeks ago. The following is from my pastor.
Birds of a feather flock together. Case in point: in the last session, we had one table that graded our church 'A' on passing on ministry to new folks; but another table that graded our church 'D' for the same question. We sit with people just like us; that's our comfort zone. The only way we can bridge the cultural dilemma is if we get 'A' people sitting with 'D' people and learning from each other. Think about that this Sunday night when you select your table. Let's cross-pollinate. Sit with someone different than you.
This session is not a pot-luck, but If you signed on with Cindy Smith to bring refreshments, don't forget. I'll come hungry.
